Hi buddy,

Seek dot com would be the best place to checkout the job openings trend, along with LinkedIn.

Having said, I could see contract opening for the techs you have mentioned.

FYI - Contracting jobs pays at-least 40-60% more than permanent jobs. Also the risk increases in contracting jobs compared to permanent.

Also please note, no job is safe and secure like a government job :) :) :)

Like the saying goes, we tend to avoid Government hospitals/schools but eye for Government jobs in sub-continent

Does this helps? or have I confused you more :focus:

Hi Mathan/All, good evening. Can help to advice on how is the job opportunities for SAP and Salesforce CRM in Syd/Mel? Thanks in advance.

Hi Mathan, Thanks! Awesome writing, I enjoyed reading your posts and I hope you are doing well. It is really very interesting and informative posts. Very helpful to the of the forum, like a one stop shop ?. All the tamil quotes were apt and humorous. I am also a tamilian from Bangalore . I feel you, missing Bangalore?.
I managed reading 43 pages in the span of 2 days (working mom with a 7 year old and a toddler. Hence couldn't read at one go)

Still waiting for ACS results. 10 days now ?

Good thread and very good information shared on Post Grant actions. It helps to know a perspective before deciding for self.

Mat... You have a good narration skill and specially patience to jot down experiences in detail.

How do I rate this thread - Information personified

Hi Nicemathan,
Very well written posts. I was totally engrossed with your narration :)

Btw, I have a question for you. I recently got the grant and I am planning to move to melbourne in Jan 2017. I am from IT background and currently playing role of a project manager. I would like to know about opportunities for PM or Project coordinator roles in Melbourne. Please help with your valuable comments.

Thanks all for your . :) :) :) Happy to see my typing is connecting with the readers.

Project Management is a bone of contention.

If you ask me the quality of project managers from sub continental environment and project manager in the west, there is a sea of difference in their approach and lot of soft skills comes into picture as differentiator. PM's here are of very high quality as far as I have seen. I may be wrong. Happy to be corrected.

However, yes there are openings. Best place to see the trends are LinkedIn and Seek

Yes, mobile app groups are live and kicking.

We have planned a group gather on Oct 29th Saturday in Sydney to meet of Sydney Tribe mobile groups Season One (House Full) and Season Two (growing by the day)

I too have plans to move by 20 Jan17 to Melbourne, kindly add me to any whatsapp group or provide additional info.

Hi
Is there any whatsapp group for people moving to Melbourne. We are planning in early February 2017. Can you please help me to connect and adding to whatsapp community.
Thanks.

Hi Nicemathan,

I am also of project management background. I was advised to try my luck as a business analyst or scrum master instead of PM as they told me that getting manager level role is way too difficult for people from south asia. What's your take on this?

Hi Guys, I am planning to make first entry to Melbourne for 1 week in dec. Can advice on the places to see and activities that can be done during this visit? Thanks in advance.
