Seek dot com would be the best place to checkout the job openings trend, along with LinkedIn.

Having said, I could see contract opening for the techs you have mentioned.

FYI - Contracting jobs pays at-least 40-60% more than permanent jobs. Also the risk increases in contracting jobs compared to permanent.

Also please note, no job is safe and secure like a government job

Like the saying goes, we tend to avoid Government hospitals/schools but eye for Government jobs in sub-continent

Project Management is a bone of contention.

If you ask me the quality of project managers from sub continental environment and project manager in the west, there is a sea of difference in their approach and lot of soft skills comes into picture as differentiator. PM's here are of very high quality as far as I have seen. I may be wrong. Happy to be corrected.
