I am relocating to Perth next week as a perm resident. I want to get a car quickly so for the first 30 days I will be driving on my UK licence. I have read a few internet threads that it can be hard to get insurance on a UK licence which I find hard to believe. Is this correct, or can someone recommend a few companies that will (maybe Allianz etc). If this is a problem, I assume I can go down the temp insurance route and pay for 30 days like a tourist?
