Hi all, just got GRANT this morning for 190 NSW Visa. Planning on moving to Sydney in June 2020. Kindly assist with whatsapp Group.

Is it also possible to apply and possibly get Jobs online while still in my homecountry?

Hey Buddy, firstly Congratulations for the PR, I have just received my PR last week for NSW and in the same boat as you. Any reasons for moving in so much later in the year as the job market would be almost closed. And in case you find any watsapp group do let me know.

@all: One query, pls help on the below:

I have got the 189-Grant, now my port expires in 10months.
1. Planning to renew next week itself. Please let me know what all I need to take care.
2. Do I need to inform the authority by any email or so?
3. Post renewal, Where all to update the new port num, in my knowledge its IMMI acc. Anywhere else ?
4. How much time does it take to update in VEVO. I hope the renewal and update is hassle free.

Congratulations.

Update the new port details in your PR application within your immi, to VEVO immediately using the new port number to and to the new PDF. There is nothing else to be done.

Not sure if someone has already posted the info here, but lemme go ahead anyway.
So, for all those of you who move into an empty house with just two/three bags to start with, I would recommend Facebook Marketplace for furniture and electrical appliances.

If you spend sometime on understanding what works for you, you'll save 100's of dollars because things are affordable and sometimes you even get things free of cost. Do give it a try!
