Anyone use Intercam Bank in Los Cabos? I opened an and their online banking app seems to be poor quality - certain things (transfer money to new s) can only be done on the PC (vs mobile app) and every single time I to PC app (their banking site in the web browser) it has problems... I get a message saying I need to wait 20 minutes and try logging in again. I can't believe a banking site would have so many problems. Once I do get into the app it does not seem high quality, almost like they made it themselves, the banking statements seem like something anyone could generate.

Have people had good luck with this bank?

I lived in Ajijic where there are office only after asking them if they had a branch in Chiapas, they said yes ... well not true , it closed down. Now I have to bank with the laptop and the app and I agree it is not friendly to say the least..

I opened an in August 2024. After SEVERAL tries, outside one time transferring funds from another USA Bank (Intercam is a USA bank) with a $30 USD fee attached, I am not permitted to 'overnight' (aka feeless) fortify my Intercam or transfer money to anyone.
I've ed the home branch a dozen times only to be sent a formulaic response that does not address the issue.

Very odd. I have had my Intercam for at least 10 years now and have had no problems. I mostly access through my laptop via the web. The only time I have encountered issues with access is when I have closed my browser window (accidentally) without logging out.

While it is true that transferring money from a U.S. bank to Intercam generally costs me money, $25 - $30 USD, that money is charged by the U.S. bank and not by Intercam. BTW, Intercam is a Mexican bank with s at various U.S. banks to simplify transferring money for norteamericanos living in Mexico.

It's a shame that some are experiencing difficulties with Intercam; my experiences have been mostly very positive.
