Hello. I own a piece of land that have a couple of trees on it, and one of the trees have fell down because of some strong winds. Was wondering what would be the appropriate price to remove such a tree (or what some of you would have charged for the job), and if there is anyone close to this area that would like to do it.

Thanks in advance :)

Depending on what you want, as on just the trunk n branches cut up then maybe a day's work at €100 for an local but difficult to judge without seeing location etc. You'd need to get local authority ticket to burn branches n leaves also the roots would need to stay where they are unless to pay for JCB digger etc. I've just spent week cutting trees for the fire regs and expect you'll struggle to find anyone with time to do one tree.

How many tress in total? And are they all big pine trees like the one across the wall?
If you have some other trees you could sell together, and they were enough to justify a visit, a local timber merchant might buy them from you. Might be worth a few hundred Euros.
Ask around for a local "madeireiro" = lumberjack / timber merchant.
They have trucks & heavy machinery to cut it in minutes, but if not enough trees to jiustify a visit, they won't be interested.

If you don't want the wood, one of your neigbours might want to cut the tree and take it away for fire wood, for FREE.
Knock on a few doors and ask them. Or put the word around in the local cafe, leave a note with a message and your :
Tenho 1 arvore caida na minha propriedade. Alguém quer corta-la e leva-la para lenha?
Usually, the tree would be cut and left for a few weeks to dry out, so the wood becomes lighter and easier to load & carry. When it's green it's very heavy, but easier to cut.
